Finis J. Dake

Finis Dake was a Twentieth century theologian and author of the Dake Annotated Reference Bible, who was born in Iberia, Missouri living from 1902-1987. Finis Dake stated "Take the Bible literally wherein it is at all possible; if symbolic, figurative or typical language is used, then look for the literal truth it intends to convey." Statements of fact and historical accounts are accepted as such." Because of this bold, faith-filled method of approaching God's Word, Finis Dake created a line of written works that help the believer discern and rightly divide the Word of God.
