Charles Spurgeon
Charles Spurgeon (1834-1892) was an English Baptist preacher, author, and editor. Charles H. Spurgeon pastored of the Metropolitan Tabernacle from 1861 until his death. Founded a pastors' college (1856), an orphanage (1867), and edited the monthly The Sword and the Trowel magazine.
